Full-Time Systems Designer
Job Description
We’re looking to grow our team in Cork as we expand our product set and customer base. We now need a Designer who will take responsibility for the design of enhancements to our core product set.
The person will work with the Product Owner, Business/Support Analysts and the Development Team throughout all the stages of our agile process to groom the product backlog, write User Stories and ensure that we release software that adds business value for our customers.
The right person will have:
◦ A 3rd level qualification combining business with computing or software engineering
◦ 2+ years experience in data and systems design
◦ Knowledge and understanding of Web application structure and development
◦ Strong SQL skills
◦ Knowledge and use of customer support and issue tracking tools (e.g. Teamwork and Jira)
◦ Strong written and verbal communication skills
And, ideally:
◦ Systems Analysis certification
◦ Experience in working in an Agile product-oriented development environment
