Job Description

We are seeking to recruit a software developer to join our Agile engineering team working on custom web solutions for our large customer base and internal projects.
Main duties include:
  • Developing, supporting and documenting in-house developed web applications and custom web-based solutions
  • Taking technical responsibility for maintaining and supporting company products and working on your own initiative to find optimum solutions
  • Working directly on application/technical problems’ identification and resolution
  • Working with the sales team, account managers and customers to gather requirements and generate functional specifications for software and integration solutions
  • Designing and developing internal tools to streamline the delivery of the support function
  • Performing integration tasks for in-house developed systems
  • Providing thought-leadership in the planning, technical strategy and problem-solving of complex portal solutions
Qualifications and Skills:
The ideal candidate will have a 3rd level qualification in Information Technology or a related discipline, with at least 3 years’ commercial experience. They will also have a strong knowledge of web and application development technologies and portal architectures including:
  • C# .net, ASP, ASP.net
  • JavaScript, CSS, HTML, AJAX, jQuery
  • XML, XSLT
  • Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL
  • PHP
  • Knowledge of eLearning systems or SCORM/AICC protocols a distinct advantage
