Full-Time Senior Front End Developer
Job Description
PE Global is looking to recruit a Senior Front End Developer who is looking to join a progressive company based in Dublin.

On the technical front the client offers the right candidate the chance to research new technologies, work with some senior players in the technology space. A lot of autonomy and a very strong, supportive management structure.
The skills needed
- HTML
- Can write clean, semantic, valid HTML.
- Understands the differences between HTML 5 and previous versions.
- CSS
- Has a solid understanding of basic CSS, the box model, etc.
- Understands the differences between CSS 3 and previous versions.
- Can deliver responsive designs via media queries.
- Knowledge of SASS, LESS, etc. is a plus.
- JS
- Has a solid understanding of basic JS and event-handling.
- Familiar with a library like JQuery, Prototype, YUI, etc.
- Knowledge of CoffeeScript is a plus.
- Process
- Has experience with a version control system like Git, Mercurial or SVN.
- Can debug client-side issues using tools like Chrome DevTools.
- Can diagnose client-side performance issues and use tools like YSlow or Google Page Speed.
- Understands cross-browser and cross-device compatibility issues and constraints.
