Job Description

We’re looking to grow our team in Cork as we expand our product set and customer base. We now need Software Developer who will work on enhancements to our product set.

Responsibilities

• Work with business and technical teams to develop technical requirements
• Develop new features in line with specifications
• Perform unit testing and support system testing
• Contribute effectively to business process improvement initiatives

Person Requirements

ESSENTIAL

• 2+ years experience in a similar Software Development role
• Knowledge and understanding of modern, web development approaches and languages
• Experience in writing complex SQL Queries for MySQL or Oracle
• Experience of working in teams (including distributed/virtual teams)

DESIRABLE

• Experience in CFML development
• Experience with node.js and/or MongoDB
• Experience in working in an Agile development environment
• Experience of using JIRA and other Atlassian tools
• Experience of working in/with the Higher Education sector

Salary is €30,000 to €40,000 depending on experience
