Web Developer Job Specification

• HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, XML, AJAX
• jQuery, jQuery Mobile
• SVG, Flexslider
• CSS3 Transitions, CSS3 Transform
• Experienced in Responsive and Reactive Design/Development
• Experience using Modernizr, HTML5 BoilerPlate, Normalize.css
• Geo-location API (http://dev.w3.org/geo/api/spec-source.html)

 

We are looking for an experienced developer to deliver a fully responsive site that works across all device ranges from Desktop to Tablet and Mobile Devices. Any applicants must have hands on experience in this area and be able to demonstrate their previously delivered projects.

Candidates must be able to differentiate between a fully responsive site and similar development techniques such as reactive/targeted development, have experience with the common technologies used such as HTML5, Modernizr, jQuery, expert in Javascript. Candidates must have extensive knowledge of technologies available from typography tools, to responsive image tools, responsive grid and design systems.

Candidates must also have excellent knowledge of device limitations, bandwidth issues/solutions for mobile devices, test environment and tools.
