Full-Time Software QA Engineer
Job Description
We’re looking to grow our team in Cork as we expand our product set and customer base. As part of our ongoing agile approach, we plan to automate 100% of our testing so we can release quality software even more frequently.
The person will work with the Product Owner, Business Analyst and Developers throughout all the stages of our agile process to set up our automated test infrastructure, writing test scripts to get us up to 100% code coverage and learning all about the application and its use – and then transition into a developer role in the team.
The right person will have:
◦ A computing or software engineering 3rd level qualification
◦ 2+ years experience
◦ Knowledge and understanding of Web application structure and development
◦ Knowledge and use of open source automated test tools (Selenium, JUnit, etc.)
◦ Knowledge of Javascript, AJAX and jquery
◦ Manual test capability
◦ Test documentation production
◦ Strong written and verbal communication skills
And, ideally:
◦ Experience with CFML (Coldfusion or Railo)
◦ Experience with Node.js
◦ ISTQB certification
◦ Exposure to RESTful API testing
◦ Experience in working in an Agile development environment
Salary is €30,000 to €35,000 depending on experience.
