VAM Systems is currently looking for System Administrator for our Qatar operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions:
Skill Set required:

Minimum of eight 8 years of experience engineering solutions and instrumentation for EMC, Hitachi and Axiom Pillar Storage Area Networks (SAN) for mission critical, enterprise applications and databases

8 years Experience with Linux Red Hat, RHCE will be an advantage

EMC and NetBackup backup product strong experience is required

Hand on experience with VMware technologies, VMware Certified Professionals is a plus
-
Should have extensive technical knowledge and experience in operational maintenance, availability, capacity planning, and monitoring of critical Storage Area Networking (SAN)
Key Responsibilities:
-
Design, deploy, configure, and maintain Brocade SAN switches.

Linux servers infrastructure administration and performing operational support activities (installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, troubleshooting, performance tuning)

Oversee EMC Networker and Veritas NetBackup infrastructure to ensure that best practices and in place and the infrastructure is optimized for performance and reliability

Work with the team to restructure the existing backup infrastructure and set a strategic plan for disaster recovery.

Provide technical leadership in the design, installation, configuration, and implementation of VMware products and services.
