SQL Developer (Daily Rate Contract)
Cork City, Ireland
Minimum 6 Months (likely to extend)
Daily Rate in the region of €320/day
Allen Recruitment is working with a leading international company in Cork which is looking to engage an SQL Developer for a 6-12 month Daily Rate Contract (€320/day).
This position will suit a talented developer who is looking to work with a great company which is growing steadily in the Munster area.
The successful applicant will be tasked with working on a major enterprise application development project and can expect to work alongside and interaction with a team of highly skilled developers and engineers.
Responsibilities
- Delivery of application development in line with established “best practice” methodologies
- Requirements Analysis & Application Design
- Provide accurate estimates and timings to project managers
- Hands on mentoring of junior-level developers within project team
- Focus toward on time delivery of high quality outputs
- Ensuring all QA procedures are satisfied in terms of process and documentation
Requirements/Skills
- Extensive commercial development experience in database design and development (enterprise data warehouse)
- Software development using Agile methodologies
- Data Extraction, Transforming and Loading (ETL) between systems using SQL tools (SSIS, DTS, Bulk Insert, BCP, XML) and .Net Applications.
- Excellent knowledge of MS SQL Server including Strong T-SQL (Stored Procedure) skills
- Commercial development experience in C# and ASP.Net
- Commercial development experience with SOA and related technologies
- Good level of knowledge/experience of XML/XSLT and XML Schema Web Services, ADO.NET, LINQ
- Third level IT or related qualification
