Job Title: Search Engine Optimisation Consultant – Permanent Position
Inspiration Marketing based in Dun Laoghaire is looking for a full time SEO Consultant to join our Internet Marketing Team. Inspiration is one of the leading award-winning Online Marketing Agencies in Ireland working with Blue Chip, Government and a range of SME clients. We specialize is helping Irish exporting SME’s to reach customers in international markets through online channels.
Responsibilities:
– You will work closely with the Project Manager and Web Developer in optimising all Inspirations’ client web sites with input into the technical / back end re-architecting of these sites to improve search engine rankings.
– You will be expected to take ownership of all your own projects from initial keyword research through to implementation and ongoing client support. You must be a motivated self-starter, genuinely interested and even passionate about search engine optimization. You will have the capability of delivering on schedule while working to tight deadlines in a very commercially focused agency.
Technical skills required:
- Experience of implementing SEO client programmes over extended periods essential. You will be required to drive content planning, coordinate with copywriters and edit content for suitability.
• In depth understanding and working knowledge of Google Analytics including conversion tracking, segments, filters and custom dashboards.
- Knowledge of how AdWords Campaigns compliment an organic SEO campaign and linking of multiple Google properties.
- In depth understanding of keyword research and implementing onsite and offsite content strategies for traffic generation.
- Familiarity with Content Management Systems e.g. WordPress, Joomla
- Knowledge of SEO softwares: WebCEO, Submiteaze and NextAnalytics Excel is desirable.
- Knowledge of A|B split testing is also desirable.Ability to innovate SEO toolset to apply to an up-to-date web development context (W3C, HTML5, PHP, MySQL)

• Genuinely passionate and in depth experience of search engine optimization.
- Strong communication skills and great attention to detail. Someone who wants to see a project through to completion and get results for our Clients
• Ability to cope with competing demands and to prioritise tasks and work on multiple projects
• Excellent time management
• Good client management skills
• Capable of working independently and as part of the project team
• Capable of hands on problem-solving, with ability to generate ideas and solutions
Desired skills:
• Knowledge of current search engine marketing techniques is a must
• Degree level qualification but suitable experience will be considered
• Demonstrable experience of working within a web development / seo environment for at least 18 months
• Ability to effectively and confidently communicate to clients and colleagues at all levels including technical and marketing managers and directors
