URGENT | Principal eCommerce Analyst/Programmer
Permanent Job based in Dublin, Ireland
Salary in the region of €55-65K plus excellent benefits package
Eden Recruitment is working closely with a leading Tier 1 Software Company who are No.1 within their field of expertise. Actively growing their Dublin team throughout 2012, they are now seeking to recruit a Principal eCommerce Analyst/Programmer with a real flare for analyzing business requirements and translating them into “best in class” eCommerce solutions.
Successful applicant can expect to be working within a large, geographically dispersed eCommerce organization, and within a (nicely sized) local team of approximately 20 people.
With a focus on developing a successful “Partner Acquisition eCommerce” offering, the team’s primary focus is to acquire new customers by leveraging existing key OEM partnerships already in place.
Key Tasks:
Analyze key metrics and performance indicators and applying this analysis to optimise and design online landing pages to ensure a world class customer experience.
Suitability:
The successful candidate will have a good combination of business analytics background, along with strong online optimization and web design experience (Strong understanding of Web Design and UX/UI expertise in critical).
Responsibilities:
- Successful candidate will be expected to translate business requirements into highly engaging and compelling design concepts
- Will have an analytical mind and be comfortable working with a clear set of KPI’s (Smart use of analysis to further optimize page design, layout and messaging)
- Conceptualize and web page design is critical
- Ability to communicate design strategy and rationale
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines – working quickly without sacrificing quality
- Ability to analyze tests to understand the impact services
- Work with web analytics data and tools to analyze potential changes to the website and to measure the results of any changes or tests

Required Qualifications and Expertise:
- Degree educated in a relative IT, Computer Science or Design discipline
- Strong interest and knowledge of eCommerce/online marketing and website optimization
- At least 2-5 years of design experience
- Business Analytics, design and coding skills with 6-7 years commercial experience
- Solid grasp of web design principles
- Applicants should have a strong and compelling portfolio that demonstrates beautiful interactive uses experiences and innovative design
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
Technical Proficiency:
- Expertise of HTML, CSS, ActionScript, and jQuery
- Ability to work with constructive criticism as well as adhere to deadlines
- A work style that is extremely detail oriented
- Ability to produce detailed technical designs and wire frames
While this role is based in Dublin, there maybe a requirement to travel to the US, UK and other European destinations from time-to-time. To facilitate this, applicants will need a valid EU Zone Passport or a Valid Stamp 4 Visa to work in the Republic or Ireland.
