We offer a full range of fabulous handpicked activities and excursions to suit all ages, budgets and personalities, from cooking classes in Turkey to cycling tours in Sydney, DayToursWorld.com has it all. We are currently seeking a new PHP developer, based out of either our offices in Farranfore, Co. Kerry or in Dublin
We are looking for someone with at least 2 years professional experience with excellent PHP and MySQL abilities. Skills required: PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, & jQuery Experience working with Linux and a source control system would be a distinct advantage. Salary €25,000 – €40,000 ( Depending on Experience)
Job Objective/Responsibilities:
The main objective is the building, testing and deployment of our booking engine widget. This will deployed to day tours world member sites on a per customer basis.
Other objectives include the development and maintenance of DayToursWorld.com and its underlying platform as part of the development team.
To achieve these you will have the following responsibilities.
• Building, testing and maintaining the booking engine widget
• Identification of sub-optimal code and refactor accordingly
• Provision of tests and documentation for all tasks and refactors
• Active participation in all team development meetings and processes
• Development of training materials and help documentation where required
