Lead .Net Developer – C#, MVC, TDD, Agile – Limerick, Ireland
viagogo – The Ticket Marketplace are looking for a talented Lead .Net developer for their office in Limerick, Ireland. Working with the latest technologies in .Net (C#, Asp.net MVC, TDD, Agile) you will be responsible for developing and building a team in Limerick to support our development teams in London and San Francisco.
As the Lead .Net Developer (C#, MVC, TDD) you will have a real creative passion for technology and a knack for problem solving.
Working within an agile scrum team you will be responsible for defining and grooming backlog items and be an active participant in the scrum meetings. Highly analytical, creative, and innovative in solving problems. Keep up to date with the latest developments and architect and lead delivery of solutions.
You will play a vital role, in not only recruiting, leading and managing a team of talented developers, but also in driving the development function forward by taking a forward thinking approach, providing ideas around development methods and consistently driving best practice and positive change whilst also providing support for any queries regarding any bespoke software issues or bugs.
Skills and Attributes:
Technical:-
C#, MVC, ASP.NET, SOA (understand use of and code against), IOC (demonstrable use of a DI container), SQL, Wcf, Design Patterns
Desirable:-
TDD, BDD, Nuget, IIS, Load balanced environments, REST, 3rd Party Integrations, HTML5, JQuery.
Experience:
Desire to work in high energy start-up environment.
Motivated to work hard in pursuit of common team goals.
Experience of developing high availability scalable web platforms.
Experience in an ecommerce environment desirable but not absolutely necessary.
Understand our values and brand proposition and be able to present them on the web.
