Full-Time JavaScript Developer – Full Stack
Job Description
Our client is looking for a senior full-stack JavaScript developer to join their product team in Berlin. They are looking for someone clever (maybe you) to help bring them to the next level.
As a senior JavaScript developer you will become an ECMAScript scholar. They are advocates of the modern JavaScript ecosystem and enjoy the challenge of putting new tech into practice. If you enjoy working with the newest technology and don’t shy away from a challenge then this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Your profile
- Fluent in English (German skills not required);
- At least three years’ experience with JavaScript;
- Mastery of JavaScript frameworks like Backbone, Ember, Angular or React (& any Flux);
- Can work in a team just as well as on your own;
- You know how to git rebase;
- You know the difference between bind, call and apply;
- Familiarity with the CSS Boxmodel and precompilers like SCSS.
Your role
- Stay on the edge of and share your thoughts about upcoming technologies;
- Create new functionality of our product on client (React+Redux) and server (NodeJS);
- Contribute to our test driven development culture via pull request and code reviews;
- Sharpen our tooling pipeline (Webpack);
- Help us optimize our distributed IT infrastructure (AWS, Docker);
- Optimize User Experience;
- Give something back to the open source community;
