iOS Game/App Developer
Full time Software Engineer position with Bluebear Technologies Ltd.
Want to help develop apps and games that are enjoyed by millions of people around the world? Bluebear is an Irish mobile apps company with a focus on kids games and photo apps. We’re working hard to build one of the strongest brands on the App Store and have a workload we can’t keep up with.
The perfect candidate will need:
A bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent ( An M.Sc is preferable)
Objective C and Xcode experience (or a strong background in C/C++ or XNA)
Basic Linux/Unix skills
A love of game development
An appreciation for quality workmanship
Nice to have:
Knowledge of Cocos2D is a major plus
OpenCV/Image Processing/Computer Vision
OpenGL, XNA
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Python/Perl scripting ability
A love of metrics – we need to focus on measuring what we do so we can improve it.
Web development skills
Other Qualities:
Display high standards, good attention to detail and a methodical work process.
You should have an ability to work effectively in a small team and independently under your own initiative.
Familiarity with the best iOS apps on the App Store, and an appreciation for beautiful UI.
Salary
This role will be offered on a permanent basis. Salary is negotiable and will depend on the candidate/experience level.
* This position will have a paid trial period before we promote the person to a full time position.
Location
This role is based at The Digital Hub, Dublin 8, located 15 minutes walk from the city centre and minutes from LUAS and Heuston Stations.
