VAM Systems is currently looking for Database Support Engineers for our Bahrain operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions:
Experience/Knowledge

Manage databases systems through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems.
- Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
- Allocating system storage and planning future storage requirements for the database system
- Modifying the database structure, as necessary, from information given by application developers
- Apply data modeling techniques to ensure development and implementation support efforts meet integration and performance expectations
- Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
- Create complex query definitions that allow data to be extracted
- Controlling and monitoring user access to the database
- Generating various reports by querying from database as per need
- Backing up and restoring databases
- Ensuring compliance with database vendor license agreement
- Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes · Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities.
Experience required : 5+ years
Terms and conditions:
Joining time frame: 2 weeks (maximum 1 month).
