Job Description
HeadUpMate! Limited is looking for an android / full stack mobile & web engineer
Requirements:
You’ll need to be familiar with full stack web application development & your specific focus with HeadUpMate! Limited will be on Android development.
Please have several apps you can show us to show off your work to date.
The position is available immediately. Initially as a 3 month contract from January – March, after which a permanent full-time developer positions will be available.
The company is headquartered in Startx6, on Mary street, Galway city centre (in Ireland’s newest accelerator) however we are fully supportive of remote working as part of the culture of the company.
Skills required:
• mobile: minimum 2 years of Native Android development experience. Having iOS as well is a definite advantage
• code: ~4+ years OO development experience (Java/C++/ C#)
• Computer Science or similar degree background
• web: experienced in HTML5, CSS3 & WordPress
• Design: you know how to code a simple user experience that will make people smile!
• Startup: you’re comfortable working in a startup environment & enjoy scrum / agile development
About the company
HeadUpMate! Limited provides mobile & web software to the health and wellness industry, specifically into Yoga studios & Mindfulness businesses.
We are a client of the Enterprise Ireland High Potential Startup program (i.e. targeting > 10 employees with >1m turnover within 18 months) & have a plan for rapid international expansion (US, UK, Australia, Canada) over the coming 2 years.
