We are currently recruiting a full time Accounts Assistant on a 1 year contract to start from 2nd January 2014.

Details of the role are as follows;

The Role:

  • Answering customer queries by phone, email and ticketing system
  • General accounts receivable duties including taking credit card payments over the phone
  • Accounts payable duties including processing invoices onto accounting system
  • Payroll review and processing staff expenses
  • Assisting with VAT returns
  • Credit card and bank reconciliations
  • Providing administrative support to management
  • Ad hoc duties as required

The Candidate:

  • Knowledge and understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Experience in Accounts Receivable/Payable or finance role
  • Excellent communications and team-working skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • 3rd level qualification in Accounting/Business or equivalent is preferable but not essential
  • Ability to work on own initiative
