CNC Machine Tool Application Engineer
Dublin (Office/Field based, covering Southern Ireland)
From €30,000 Plus Company Car, Non Contributory Pension Scheme

Our client is a leading supplier of quality machine tools and accessories to the manufacturing industry throughout Ireland and Northern Ireland. An opportunity has now arisen for a CNC Machine Tool Application Engineer to join their team.

For this role, our client is looking for someone with experience of programming CNC lathes, mills, multi-axis and machining centres and experience with CAD/CAM systems, preferably using Unigraphics and/or Esprit.

As a CNC Machine Tool Application Engineer, you will be responsible for getting the company’s machines into production at client sites.

You will also carry out turnkey projects across Southern Ireland and occasionally in Northern Ireland, as well train and support end users on how to use the machines.

To be considered for the role of CNC Machine Tool Application Engineer, you must have:

- Experience of programming lathes, mills, multi-axis and machining centres using CAD and CAM systems
- Experience of using macro-programming, workholding, barfeed stems, automation, tool and workpiece probing systems
- Turnkey project management experience
