Helpdesk Analyst – Server, Desktop and Network Support

€30,000 - €35,000

Established in 1998, our client provides managed IT support and professional services to their customers. Operating from offices in Dublin and Galway, they were named the 2010 Outstanding Microsoft Voice Partner in EMEA. An opportunity has now arisen for a Helpdesk Analyst to join their team.

This role would suit a talented IT support professional, looking to develop their career with an award winning company. This position provides excellent career prospects.

Initially, as a Helpdesk Analyst you will be responsible for providing server, PC and network support, administration and maintenance to variety of clients.

You will be tasked with visiting client sites to provide support, including installing and troubleshooting hardware devices. Additionally, you will be required to identify any opportunities to further develop service contracts. As you progress within the role, you will move into a more project-based position.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

- Proven IT support experience, including server, desktop, and network support
- A good understanding of PC and server hardware
- An excellent working knowledge of Windows NT, 2000, 2003 and XP

Additionally as a Helpdesk Analyst you must be a proactive self starter with an organised approach. Excellent communication skills are also key.

Whilst possessing an MCSE would be an advantage to your application, it is by no means essential.
