Sales Executive / Business Development Manager – Technology Solutions
Rathcoole, Co Dublin
€30,000 - €40,000 DOE (OTE €60,000 - €70,000)

Our client is a major player in the mobile technology market in Ireland and the UK with their mobile handheld software solutions. An opportunity has now arisen for a Sales Executive / Business Development Manager to join their team.

This role would suit an ambitious sales professional with a strong understanding of technology solutions, looking to further their career within a successful and innovative company. Understanding the business value of technology and to able to present that value in a way senior business people can comprehend is a key skill.

As a Sales Executive / Business Development Manager you will be responsible for developing new customers in Ireland and the UK for our client’s mobile business solutions.

In this key role, you will be tasked with developing and executing a sales strategy that will further sales of our client’s products. In addition to driving sales, you will also maintain positive relationships with established customers. It is envisaged that you will spend at least two thirds of your time out in the field in front of potential clients. The position will suit a person with a structured approach to sales.

To be considered for this position, you must have:

- Proven sales experience, including a successful track record of meeting and exceeding targets
- Experience of developing new business and maintaining relationships with existing customers
- A strong understanding of, or background in, technology solutions

As a Sales Executive / Business Development Manager you should have excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills, coupled with the ability to negotiate at a variety of levels within businesses. Great communication skills are also key.

Whilst not essential, any qualifications or training in negotiation techniques would be a distinct advantage to your application.
