Field Sales Account Manager (Health Insurance)

£17,000 Basic OTE £25,000 - £30,000 Uncapped Plus Company Car, Mobile, Laptop, Health Schemes, Pension

Our client is a market-leading not-for-profit health insurer. A unique opportunity has now arisen for an ambitious Field Sales Account Manager to join their growing team.

This role would suit a motivated sales professional with a proven B2B track record, looking to further their career with an established company.

As a Field Sales Account Manager your focus will be on seeking new and profitable business and developing new accounts for our client’s insurance products across Northern Ireland.

In addition to developing and maintaining excellent relationships with existing customers, you’ll be responsible for identifying prospects and following up warm leads.

To be considered for this position, you must have a successful track record in B2B (business to business) sales. Also essential will be your excellent communication skills (both written and spoken) and a good level numeracy. You must also possess a full driving licence.

As a Field Sales Account Manager you must have the ability to prioritise, work to your own initiative and manage your time effectively. You must also have a consultative approach and the ability to explain technical concepts.

Although not essential, a track record in key account management or experience of the broking market would be beneficial to your application. A working understanding of insurance and the wider employee benefit market would also be highly advantageous.
