Business Development Consultant / Bids and Proposals Manager (6 Month Contract)
Dublin (Home/Office Based)
€35,000 Basic €65,000 - €70,000 OTE

Our client is Ireland’s leading bids and business development consultancy. They assist companies to win public and private sector contracts in both Ireland and abroad. Now they are looking to aggressively expand their services an opportunity has now arisen for a Business Development Consultant / Bids and Proposals Manager to join their team on a contract basis.

This role would suit a dynamic self starter with an excellent track record in business development and experience of creating written proposals. For the right candidate there is the strong possibility of this becoming a permanent position.

As a Business Development Consultant / Bids and Proposals Manager you will be responsible for ensuring our client’s tender team continues to develop in line with key targets and business development objectives.

In this senior role, you will be tasked with identifying new business opportunities and co-ordinating the bid process. Taking a proactive role in generating leads and following up potential new clients, you will also assist in the bid management process with regard to pre-qualification and tender submissions.

To be considered for this position, you must have:

- Proven sales and business development experience
- Experience of creating written proposals for clients
- Good MS Office skills

As a Business Development Consultant / Bids and Proposals Manager you must be highly motivated with excellent communication skills. The ability to organise you time and work effectively is also key.

Whilst not essential, an understanding and experience of the tender process would be highly beneficial. Possessing a business-related qualification would also be an advantage to your application, as would any experience of using MS Project.
