An opportunity has now arisen for a Customer Service Advisor to join their team.

This is the ideal role for an enthusiastic customer services professional or a highly motivated candidate with a background in the transport or freight industries, looking to further their career with an industry leader.

As a Customer Service Advisor you will be responsible for assisting the Transport Manager in the day-to-day running of the transport office, ensuring an effective administration function and providing excellent levels of customer service.

In this key role, you will be tasked communicating with drivers, updating status changes and tracking progress on all deliveries. Resolving customers’ queries when necessary, you will also liaise with transport department on deliveries and other issues as they arise.

Your other duties will include:

- Ensuring the correct costs are entered on the system
- Making delivery documents available to relevant parties
- Ensuring freight manifests and labels are accurate

To be considered for this position, you must have either experience in customer services or a proven background in the transport or freight industries.

As a Customer Service Advisor / Customer Services Representative you will need to be highly organised, self motivated and able to work on your own initiative. Strong communication skills are also key.

The ideal candidate will have customer service experience gained within the transport/freight industry, although this is not essential.
