Are you a Java and SQL Server development professional with some exposure to .NET technologies, looking to further your development experience with a progressive company? If so, read on.

Our client is a specialised fund administration company located in Blackrock. They have an international client base and a growing reputation as a quality and responsive fund administration company. An opportunity has now arisen for a Java / SQL Server Web Applications Developer to joint their IT department.

This role would suit a proactive developer with a ‘can do’ attitude and great Java and SQL Server skills, looking to further their career within a well established company.

As a Java / SQL Server Web Applications Developer your focus will be developing web applications using Java and .NET technologies, integrating third-party back end systems and SQL Server applications.

Joining a small, dynamic team, you will be involved in the entire development life cycle. In addition to developing Java and .Net applications, you will also be responsible for supporting our client’s PC and network hardware and troubleshooting any system problems.

To be considered for this position, you must have:

- Excellent SQL Server programming experience
- Proven Java development experience
- Some exposure to .NET technologies (such as C# or VB.NET)

Additionally, as a Java / SQL Server Web Applications Developer you must have excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with both other developers and non-technical users, understanding their requirements. You should also have the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
