My Midlands based client has a vacancy for a Six Sigma Black Belt:
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibility for achieving business targets utilizing Six Sigma methodology as well as assisting the organization in driving Lean Six Sigma in the facility
Identify, measure and implement business solutions using Six Sigma methodologies
Complete assigned Black Belt projects
Teach Green Belt courses and mentor Green Belt projects.
KEY COMPETENCIES
Project Management Skills
Directing Others / Leadership Qualities and People Development
Budget / Cost Control
Proven history of problem solving, group facilitation, negotiating and influencing.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
Good communication skills, oral, written and presentation.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and the general public.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
University Degree - preferably in Mechanical or Production Engineering
2-3 years of working experience, preferably in a Manufacturing environment
Computer proficiency required; SAP R3 experience is a plus
Prior experience in Six Sigma is not necessary, but a continuous improvement background and/or Green Belt certification is a plus.
Salary dependent on experience
