Partner Relationship Manager / Supplier/Vendor Manager – IT Services
Dublin (with some travel)
€60,000 - €75,000

As a global leader, our client delivers technology services and solutions to the world’s most demanding clients. They provide infrastructure services and professional services to leading technology providers, outsourcers, large and small businesses and consumers. An opportunity has now arisen for a Partner Relationship Manager / Supplier/Vendor Manager to join their team.

This newly created, senior appointment will involve overseeing the contract negotiation, relationship management, new partner integration, profitability and performance management for partners (IT sub-contractors) across EMEA.

Your focus will be on ensuring clients, end-users and internal clients are satisfied with service delivery by establishing a strategy for the management of partners.

Reporting to a European VP, as the Partner Relationship Manager / Supplier/Vendor Manager your remit will include:

- delivering and managing a partner management strategy and programme
- implementing sourcing strategies, process and initiates to enable a cost-effective partner model
- ensuring partners are effectively managed and contracts are fully leveraged
- renegotiating partner contracts, driving profitability and service improvement
- developing a partner map to ensure co-operation, engagement and communication
- identifying opportunities for new markets, products and services

To be considered for this position, you must have substantial experience of partner management, or a closely-related fields such as vendor management, supplier management etc, in an IT services or related technology environment. You will also need to demonstrate success in a leadership role, especially where you’ve been required to achieve through others in a matrix environment.

In addition to excellent communication skills, the ideal Partner Relationship Manager / Supplier/Vendor Manager will have strong experience in partner sourcing and contract negotiation. Strong analytical and reporting skills are also key, as is the ability to cultivate relationships with key stakeholders.

A degree (or equivalent) in management, marketing, finance or similar, would be beneficial to your application, as would fluency in additional European languages.
