PHP Developer / Web Developer – PHP, MySQL, XHTML/CSS, JavaScript, jQuery

Our client is one of Ireland’s leading graphic design consultancies. Using graphic design as a practical marketing tool, they help differentiate customers from their competitors and improve their business development. They are currently looking to recruit a PHP Developer / Web Developer to join their team.

This is the ideal role for an ambitious web developer looking to improve their skills and progress their career in an open and creative environment.

Working with their multi award winning design and web development team, as a PHP Developer / Web Developer, you will be tasked with:

- Building websites to XHTML/CSS standards
- Setting up sites in PHP and software development
- Cross browser display and technical testing
- Deploying sites to server and domain repointing

- Using PHP CMS systems, like Drupal, Joomla and MODx
- Training clients in CMS systems, attending sales and project meetings
- Developing custom web application development projects using PHP/ASP.NET

To be considered for the role of PHP Developer / Web Developer, you must have:

- Significant commercial web development experience
- PHP, MySQL, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery skills

- Experience using PHP CMS systems such as Drupal, Joomla and MODx

Additionally, you must possess strong communication skills and attention to detail. Although not essential, experience of using MVC frameworks will be a distinct advantage to your application.

This role is envisaged to become permanent but is likely to start on a contract basis.
