Mechanical Contracts Manager / Project Manager – HVAC/Building Services
Ballymena, Co Antrim
Up to £35,000 Negotiable DOE

Our client is one of Northern Ireland’s leading building services company. Established in 1983, they have an outstanding reputation for excellence and offer a range of services including plumbing, air conditioning, ventilation and electrical services. An opportunity has now arisen for a Mechanical Contracts Manager / Project Manager to join their team.

As a Mechanical Contracts Manager / Project Manager you’ll be responsible for running projects, from appointment through to practical completion.

Your role will encompass planning, procurement and organising labour, materials and plant, working with the Electrical Contracts Manager where applicable. Significant travel to sites within both the UK and Europe, with some overnight stays, will be required.

Your duties will include:

- day to day management of mechanical, HVAC, building services projects
- financial responsibility for building services projects
- liaising with the electrical contracts manager, and design and estimation teams
- ensuring client satisfaction on all projects

To be considered for this position, you must have:

- project or contract management experience within the mechanical, HVAC, building services industries
- financial acumen and the proven ability to manage a budget profitably
- a full, clean driving licence

The ideal Mechanical Contracts Manager / Project Manager will also have a good level of IT literacy, including MS Excel, and the ability to communicate at all levels. Any AutoCAD experience would be beneficial to your application.
