Senior Mechanical Contracts/Projects Manager – HVAC/Building Services
Ballymena, County Antrim
£ Negotiable DOE Plus Pension, Company Car

Our client is one of Northern Ireland’s leading building services company. Established in 1983, they have an outstanding reputation for excellence and offer a range of services including plumbing, air conditioning, ventilation and electrical services. An opportunity has now arisen for a Senior Mechanical Contracts/Projects Manager to manage their Engineering division.

This is the ideal role for an experienced engineering project manager, with a background in the mechanical service, HVAC or building services industry, looking to further their career within a leading company.

As the Senior Mechanical Contracts/Projects Manager you will be responsible for overseeing our client’s mechanical division, providing leadership and co-ordinating resources.

Reporting to the directors, as the department team leader you will define the project schedule from the initial phases and continually measure progress against the project goals. Your other duties will include:

- Developing procedures and processes that lead to greater efficiency
- Overseeing project budgets
- Attending tender interviews and assisting with project presentations
- Mentoring other team members

To be considered for this position, you must have:

- An HNC (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering or building services
- Proven project management experience, gained within the mechanical service, HVAC or building services sector
- A good level of financial acumen and a proven ability to profitably manage budgets
- Project leadership experience

Additionally, as the Senior Mechanical Contracts/Projects Manager you must be a collaborative leader while also being a participative team member. You should also have a drive for results and a flexible approach.

Whilst not essential, any experience of using AutoCAD would be beneficial to your application.
