Technology Product Manager - Technology Marketing Opportunity
Dublin
€60,000 - €85,000 Plus Defined Contribution Pension Plan, Life Assurance, Income Protection, 24 Days’ Annual Leave

Our client’s services enable digital TV operators, consumer electronics companies and semiconductor companies to deliver next-generation devices, systems and services to consumers at home and on the move. With over 14 years’ experience, their TV technology business provides services, products and IP to the digital TV industry working closely with cable, satellite and IPTV digital TV operators. An opportunity has now arisen for an experienced Technology Product Manager to join their team.

This role would suit a highly motivated candidate with experience of technology marketing or technology-related product management, looking to further their career within an innovative, global company.

As the Technology Product Manager you will be responsible for the entire product management lifecycle and successfully launching a number of our client’s products to the market.

In addition to driving the product from idea through development to launch, you will be tasked with identifying target prospects and working with the Sales and Business Development team to engage them. Your other duties will include:

- Analysing market needs through ongoing visits to new and existing customers
in order to provide requirements for R&D
- Liaising with the Engineering team to ensure the product is delivered on schedule
- Liaising with the marketing department to generate product collateral such as flyers, presentations and press releases
- Identifying, profiling and tracking direct and indirect competition
- Being an evangelist for the product within the industry, attending and speaking at conferences and trade shows

To be considered for this position, you must have:

- Significant experience in technology related product management
- A proven track record of successfully bringing new products through their full life cycle
- A deep interest in emerging technologies and their wider application

While not essential, any knowledge or experience of TV technology would be a distinct advantage to your application. Any experience with the Pragmatic Marketing framework would also be beneficial.
