An opportunity has now arisen for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join their team.

This is the ideal position for a driven and proactive candidate with experience of managing suppliers and vendors within a supplier quality role, looking to progress their career within an innovative and successful company.

As a Supplier Quality Engineer you will be tasked with providing QA support in the supplier selection, assessment and approval process for our client’s market-leading medical devices.

Your duties will include:

- Developing and maintaining quality standards for purchasing control activities
- Performing supplier assessments to support the approval and on-going assessment of suppliers
- Establishing and maintaining data reflecting the performance of your suppliers

To be considered for the role of Supplier Quality Engineer, you must have significant experience of managing suppliers and vendors gained within a supplier quality role.

Additionally, you must be a team player and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively motivate others. A good level of IT literacy coupled with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines are also key.

Although not essential, supplier quality experience from within a high-volume manufacturing environment would be an advantage to your application.
