Based in Bray, Co. Wicklow
Oslo are looking for an Open Source developer with experience in
Perl, C and Javascript. Experience in Python would be a plus.
MySQL and/or PostgreSQL
Open Source culture
Familiarity with Public or Academic library operations and standards would be an advantage
We have a vacancy for an Open Source developer to develop and support 2 open source applications. Both systems are mature applications with many installations in the U.S. and around the world and interest is growing in Ireland.
We are looking to recruit a self-starting, creative and innovative software developer who has working experience in Open Source development.
Excellent analytic, communication and interpersonal skills.
Solid documentation skills.
This is an excellent opportunity for a flexible individual who is a self starter with the ability to be productive under pressure. This is an interesting business environment which requires an individual with an energetic and enthusiastic approach, along with maturity, self confidence and self motivation.
We will be offering a temporary contract for 6 months with the possibility of a permanent post if the candidate meets our expectations and the sales in this area achieve the growth that we expect.
Working conditions are excellent and salary will be equivalent to 30-40k annually, depending on experience.
