Lead Engineer/ Architect

Lead Engineer/ Architect required for a leading worldwide software company that provides solutions into telecoms marketplace. They are fast growth and innovative. The role involves taking responsibility for the architecture of all products from specification through the development life cycle, ensuring that the architecture remains consistent and meet customer requirements and lead to efficient software development. You will be required to lead hands on development of new products and features. The architect must be able to take ownership of incomplete requirements and work with stakeholders to identify the underlying business problems and deliver an agreed set of prioritised and coherent technical requirements that solve problems.
You will have a degree and more then 5 years experience in software engineering with C++, Java and multithreaded software. Ideally you will have some experience with architecture and want to step up to the lead role. Experience within the telecoms industry with database development / protocols is a distinct advantage.
