SQL Server DBA & Windows Server Administrator (Dublin Office): Delta Index are recruiting a Senior SQL Server DBA / Windows Server Administrator who can help us to achieve our goals. Ideal applicants will have over 5 years’ experience in a DBA / Systems Administrator role, and at least some experience supporting and managing high availability solutions.
As a key member of the IT Team, you will be responsible for supporting and managing the online trading application databases and environments. Day to day activities will include both database administration (performance tuning, data archival and backups etc.) and assisting and supporting the internal IT and Engineering teams in the build of the next generation trading platform.
Delta Index was launched in Ireland in 2001 and has since established itself as Ireland’s leading online Financial Spread Betting and Contracts for Difference (CFD) Company. In September 2008 we became the first Irish Spread Betting provider to be regulated by the Financial Regulator under the EU’s Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFid).
