Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain PHP applications for our web based system
Design applications for online commerce
Develop applications using best practice
Perform security testing & establish ongoing security strategy
Perform user acceptance testing
Document all applications using best practice
Integrate applications with the existing web site look and feel
Integrate these applications with our back office systems
Requirements:
2-5 years experience with PHP
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline – do we really need this?
Experience in Object-Oriented programming in PHP5.
Experience with Zend framework and ORM libraries
Experience with Ajax is a benefit but not a requirement
Experience in MySQL
A solid understanding of web security and best practice design
The ability to understand and deliver on user requests
Skills in using in-code documentation frameworks like Doxygen, Javadoc PHPDocumentor a plus
UML a plus
Strong analytical skills
Ability to work in rapidly changing conditions.
